....:::: Few words about me ....
I've born in small town in south-east part of Poland called Mielec. I'm going to skip all stories about elementary school as I think they are not interesting. I can only say that me
and my school mates from sport class swam a lot and that was our life. I did manage to gain some medals and diplomas from different competitions but most important was diplomas from country championships. My best personal result
(if I remember that right) was in 1995 in Rzeszow on 400meters free style. That was the 10th place (final b) in Poland. In breast stroke I've been switching between 16-20th place in Poland. Anyway in that time we've been living only
in sport and recreation world. In May 1995 I've done my lifeguard qualifications and become junior lifeguard in W.O.P.R. (equivalent to RLSS)
and few months later I've gained swimming judge qualifications as well.
I could tell unending stories about high school. Well, sometimes I come back
with memories to those days and I have to say that that was my best days, days which are unforgettable and unbelievable. Well those
days are gone now but when I came back to those I feel really good again, if you know what I'm saying. We've done so many crazy
things ..... with my mates we've survived so many wild parties is really hard to believe. We were always broke but we were clever
as well. We knew how to make some extra cash and spend it on booze, beers and cheap wines. When I look behind I know now where my
nick mane came from. What can I say? I guess that only one thing. That was an old times. And know is so different that it was then.
In July 1998 I've gained scuba diving qualifications and become a junior diver. That was (and still is) unforgettable filling of
taking my first inhalation of air from the bottle on silly 4meter depth. Some things are harder to forget and other stay a bit longer
in our memories. I'm not going to write more about high school because it's not going to end and each of us should know and remember
this great time and know what I'm talking about.
After graduation with surprising good results had to think more about own future
and not only about fun and parties. Like most of us after graduation started to think what to do next with our lives, how to start it
properly and what changes should be done. And the same questions I have struggled with. Unfortunately lack of money disqualified my
from going to uni so I had only two choices to make. Going to army or going to work. It's very hard to find good work in Poland with
reasonable wages (if you find any) so answer on my question left only one. It was time to start new chapter of life in army. Well
I've figured this out that is better to go and have national service behind now when you are young than wait longer and do it later
in future when you are old. I thought that at least I could shoot a bit from kalashnikov and other weapons. If anyone of you have had
any weapon in your hands you will know what I'm talking about.
Straight after signing into army I've received opportunity to join peacekeepers
called POLUKRBAT, Polish-Ukrainian Battalion (part of KFOR's division) in Kosovo, located in south part of Serbia and I've accepted it.
With serving people and bringing peace again into their homes another tempting benefit came over. It was money. Maybe they wasn't that good but enough
to go there and do something for people. From beginning I knew that's right decision and I wasn't wrong. With hand on my heart I can say
that it was second (after high school) best time in my life. So again, I could tell long, unbelievable and very spicy stories what
happened there but I'm afraid I don't have so much time right now to do it. I know only, that each part of my life I've gained, I took it like
it was and learned something from it. It's good to have something to remember and after few years and share it with your family and
friends. So if you are interested with army, etc you might want to have a look in
my gallery and see some pictures.
